Stats - one year and ten days old

Audrey (finally) had her one year well baby visit.  The new pediatrician is growing on me - I really like his manner with Audrey!  And he has family in my hometown :-P

Girlfriend is 2ft 5 1/2 inches and weighs 20lbs and 8 oz.  I believe he said she's in the 65th percentile for height and 50th for weight?  SHOCKING to me since at 6 months she was in the 90th percentile for height.  Crazy. 

Everything is going well aside from some awful teething and some adjustments to her reflux medication.  She got two shots today (see, I'm not totally anti-vaccinations!!) - I very much appreciated how he talked with me about my concerns and the schedule we've been following.  

I think we're going to start ferberizing tomorrow.  I'm dreading it.  There's nothing I love more than holding my sleeping girl in my arms.  She does need more sleep though and God knows we do too.  I'm dreading it though.  Have I mentioned that I'm dreading it?  I am.  A lot.  :-(

Maybe she'll sleep through the night tonight and everything will have changed?  Cross your fingers for me.

My one and only...

She's one!

Audrey turned one a week ago from today. I don't have to tell any of you that have made it over to this side of parenthood what an emotional day the first birthday is.

Both set of parents and my sister's family came in for an extended visit. Being with my little girl, surrounded by our family was blissful! She is so very loved by so many people - it's humbling.
