Finnegan-Bo-Binnegan

He's amazing. Seriously.

It's been a tough adjustment in some ways but now that we have six weeks of being a family of four things are getting easier. Some positives:

Nursing! It was as easy as can be this time. No latch issues at all and he's gaining weight like it's his job. At our midwife appt on Friday he weighed 13 lbs 11 oz. Incredible.

Sleeping! So far, so good. We're cosleeping andits going great. He's a snuggler and sleeps better smashed up against me.

Audrey! Loves her brother. She really does. It totally melts my heart and has been SO MUCH better than I was anticipating.

Some not so great things:

I have a touch of PPD. I don't feel like I'm doing a great job at anything right now. Sure, we're getting by but no one is hvjng 100% of their needs met. I have a referral to talk to a therapist and I'm really hoping to fit that into my schedule.

It's been a whirlwind since Finn was born. Michele and Auggie were here then Katy then we went to Pittsburgh for Christmas. We've been back for a little under two weeks now and things are starting to fall into place. Audrey is sleeping a bit better, we're eating healthier - both of those things seem to make a big difference in attitude around here. Hopefully things continue to improve.

Finn's baptism is on Sunday. My family (plus Grandma S and Louie) and Todd's family are going out so we're going to celebrate Audrey's second (sob!) birthday at the same time. We're expecting 25-30 ppl - we're blessed to have so many people that care about us and our children.

More soon!
